This pack was crafted to emulate some of the identifiable tones made famous by artists like 24KGoldn.
To accomplish this, there was heavy use of the Archetype: Cory Wong amp simulator plugin by Neural DSP to generate a lifelike tone and cab simulation. With this plugin, we also used multi-mic simulation, which added a gorgeous fullness to these guitar loops.
The Amp Snob amp simulator of the Cory Wong plugin by Neural DSP is a real gem that offers tone simulation of boutique amplifiers. This was used in these guitar loops to help emulate the characteristic singing and smooth sustain of Dumble amplifiers. This brought to life a rich, professional, and expensive-sounding tone. Truly 24k!
For these guitar loops, we used a combination of SM57 and Royer121 impulse responses for tone capture.
The featured guitars in this pack include a beautiful Fender telecaster special with lipstick neck pickup and Seymour Duncan 1959 bridge pickup, as well as a Les Paul 1960 Gibson standard reissue.
Finally, the mix was brought to fruition using Waves Renaissance Vox compressor.
